Pottery Wheel Throwing!!

Join us for a fun 2 hours of wheel-throwing, where you will get an introduction to the art of throwing ceramics. This workshop is ideal for first timers as well as experienced potters. You’ll learn the basics of centering, pulling walls, shaping, and trimming on the wheel. You will attempt to make 2 pieces per workshop.

This workshop is meant to be a fun time with a friend, a date, or just solo time to connect with your creative side. Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty. Participants must be at least 12 years old or 8 years with an adult helper.

We have ample parking just steps from our door. You’ll be able to avoid the downtown parking stress and just enjoy your experience. Handicap parking is also available.

NEXT STEPS:

Once your pieces have dried for about a week, we will bisque fire them and invite you to register for our Glazing Class, where you can return to glaze your own pieces. If you are unable to participate in this follow-up class, we are happy to glaze your pieces for you. We offer a selection of glazes to choose from. Please be patient, pottery takes time! The process takes about 3 - 8 weeks before you can collect your pieces. We will hold your pieces for 30 days for pickup or we offer shipping at a $25 flat fee, per house for shipping and packaging.

LEARNING TO LET GO:

Pottery can be unpredictable, some pieces might not survive after the firing process, but hey life is a lesson in letting go. We will work with you and do our very best to deliver your masterpieces in one piece, but we cannot make any guarantees.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We understand that things can come up at the last minute, which is why we offer a refund for your ticket price if you give us a cancellation notice at least 48 hours before your class. Cancellations any time after that will not be refunded. We are happy to reschedule your class for a different time depending on availability if you give us a 48-hour warning prior to the class.
